‘Come fast, you dumbo. Hahaha’. I heard this being told by a 8 year old neighbour Aswath to Nakul while walking near my house. Shocked to hear, I saw Nakul’s crying face as he just lost to Aswath in the running race. This is where it all starts. The entire drama of abuses and superiority begins in childhood.

Now it all depends upon Nakul where it’ll end up. He may look for revenge taking offense, feel ashamed and not play again for sometime or take it positive, working towards betterment. Ideally last option would be better. Ofcourse, if Aswath’s act was deadly, it should have been handled differently.

This is just a small thought from a daily walk, but this can even be seen as a solution in social issues we’re witnessing.

If you feel you or any society is being suppressed and the side effects are not too damaging, what would be the right way of dealing with it? If you stand up, gather people and go against the ones who are responsible for it, isn’t the purpose lost? This is just going to add nuisance and waste everyone’s time. The person who suppressed you is still going to see you the same way as it’s a problem with his mind.

Actions are triggered in mind.

If you still look for starting a revolution, you should trigger it within yourself and the ones who’s experiencing the same. This process should be aimed towards betterment of yourself or the whole set of people who could be potentially affected. This is a connected world and the betterment we will seek for is supposed to be attained simpler than our previous generations. Isn’t this the right kind of activism at this age of internet?

We see so much of things in the name of activism everyday in social media especially targeted towards spreading hatred. But think about this, not even 1 in 5 things you see in social media aim towards solution or progress. Activism must be targeted towards solutions and not towards useless things spreading hatred by creating false hope on people’s mind.

Grow up to your real potential and help others for the same if possible.

Once this happens, the thought of suppression will go weak in so called dominant people’s mind. This takes time. Good things do take time but the fruits last forever.

Next time, try this out. Whenever you see a news on media spreading hatred, see if you can help for solution or share it with a potential solution(not hatred). If both are not possible, just leave it. Move on without guilt. That will atleast not disturb your peace.

Btw, I made sure Aswath and Nakul are free of hatred against each other. 🙂

Stay safe! Till next time, bye.🤟
